Adaptation to Climate Change

We work on various projects relating to the topic of adaptation to climate change. We have observed an increasing interest in consultancy on this topic among our customers. Based on case studies, we are constantly developing and refining a comprehensive methodology for the creation of climate-change-adaptation concepts. These concepts are suitable for use by countries, cantons, cities, sectors and companies.

We would like to provide a “one-stop-shop” where both the public service and private industry can obtain the services they require in this area: to this end, we are developing practical “climate change adaptation concepts”. These identify measures that are urgently required and easy to implement. Proposed projects or organisations can be assessed by us in respect of their robustness to climate change (“climate proofing” approach). In addition to a topic-based perspective, we also analyse economic sectors such as agriculture, forestry, energy supply and tourism.
