Future research for clients

We would like to offer our clients the services that are of most use to them both now and in the future. For this reason, we investigate topics that build on our current areas of activity and are of key significance for shaping the long-term future of our clients.

The exploration of these issues boosts our orientational knowledge and also gives our employees the opportunity to work on topics close to their own hearts. The clients cover at least half of the cost of the research and BaslerFonds covers the rest.

The following ongoing and completed research projects carried out on behalf of clients illustrate the general direction of our work:

  • Basis for protection objectives in relation to the handling of genetically modified organisms; commissioned by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF)
