Energy Consulting

Our specialists will give you advice, starting with initial ideas in the strategic development phase and the planning stage, and progressing through to the implementation and management of your construction and rebuilding projects.

We offer integrated optimisation of local, regional and national projects relating to energy efficiency and sustainability. We also advise investors and clients abroad on the overall optimisation of energy efficiency and sustainable construction methods which conserve resources.

Our experienced team of building technologists and mechanical engineers deals with the following areas in particular:

  • Energy consulting in the construction sector
  • Strategic consulting for site and property development, covering all aspects of energy
  • Client consulting and representation on matters of energy and room comfort
  • Planning requirements for development and planning processes
  • Compilation of energy master plans
  • Concepts for buildings in the 2000W Society (e.g. MINERGIE-P-ECO)
  • Advice on “sustainable construction”

An example of our work is the planning specifications for secondary school buildings in Luxembourg, in the form of modular project concepts for architecture and building technology. Two construction projects based on these specifications have been completed, with a number of other renovation and new-build projects currently in the planning or construction stages; we are provide support for each of them through to completion and utilisation. The ATERT Lycée in Redange (Luxembourg) was awarded the “Silver” seal of quality by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) in 2010.

In connection with the new extension building for the Hamilton company in Bonaduz, we are also advising and representing the clients on heat protection, room comfort and energy issues, and we are assisting the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH-Z), as the client’s representative on energy matters. Since 2009 we have also been acting as Energy Coach to the City of Zurich and advise private customers and their planning teams on new buildings and building restorations.
