HVAC Engineering

Our specialists in HVAC engineering undertake work on the planning and execution of building technology systems for public and private clients.

Comprising more than a dozen HVAC engineers and technicians, the team works with state-of-the-art instruments to carry out demanding planning assignments and to ensure the commissioning and optimisation of technical systems.

We are active in the following fields:

  • Innovative and complex HVAC installations for sophisticated buildings
  • Energy optimisation of building services installations
  • Planning and implementation of energy-efficient heat generation and refrigeration with minimal utilisation of non-renewable energy sources (free cooling, BHHC, absorption cooling, etc.)
  • Industrial heating systems (hot water and steam)
  • Planning and implementation of systems for the maximum exploitation of renewable energy sources
  • Tunnel ventilation systems
  • Planning and tendering
  • Assessment of investment and operating costs
  • Monitoring of dates and costs
  • Specialist construction supervision
  • Commissioning and acceptance
  • Integral tests
  • Operational support and optimisation

Our assignments include the planning and engineering of the HVAC installations for two major projects in the 5th stage of expansion at Zurich Airport, the implementation of an innovative energy concept in the Grand Hotel Dolder, Zurich, and planning and implementation support for the rebuilding work at Zurich City Hall. At the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich, we are responsible for HVAC planning for the conversion work on the electrical engineering buildings, including lecture theatres and laboratory areas.
