03.01.11 - As part of the tourist-centred refurbishment of the Rhine Falls, an elevator tower was constructed to provide disabled access to the falls. The adjoining gangway and tower offer new views and also provide access to the newly created walkabout.

03.01.11 - A seven-storey laboratory building based on a design by the architect Souto de Moura was constructed on the Novartis Campus in Basel. Ernst Basler + Partner prepared the complex design for the structural framework, which represents a major component of the architecture for the architect.

22.12.10 - At Zurich Airport the construction of a railway terminal has created a new landside hub for airline passengers and regional traffic. The ambitious civil engineering project is crowned with a glazed cable structure.

21.12.10 - The Dolder Grand Hotel in Zurich, which is over 100 years old, is being converted and comprehensively extended to create a high-end luxury hotel. Ernst Basler + Partner, as the structural engineers, assisted the team of architects from Foster & Partners from the initial idea through to implementation.

30.04.10 - Berne’s Bahnhofplatz was completely redesigned. The striking canopy – a glazed steel structure – was designed and planned by Ernst Basler + Partner in cooperation with a team of architects.

03.01.10 - The reception building for the Novartis Campus in Basel is a load-bearing construction consisting completely of glass. It has a wing-shaped roof made from glass fibre reinforced plastic.
