Alpmobil wins the Travel One sustainability prize

06.09.11 - With the “Electric cars in the Gotthard region” tourism project, Alpmobil is now also enjoying success abroad, as the company has been awarded the Travel One sustainability prize.

Alpmobil is a pioneering project that invites people to test out the mobility of tomorrow in comfort in a fascinating mountain landscape. With this project, tourism operators throughout the Gotthard region have shown their commitment to sustainable mobility in the leisure and tourism sector. This has been well-received not only in Switzerland, but also in other countries: Alpmobil has been awarded the Travel One sustainability prize. A total of 64 international companies submitted their entries for the prize, which was awarded this year for the first time. They faced a jury of nine from the tourism and research sectors. The commitment of Alpmobil to sustainability enabled the coveted prize to be brought to Switzerland. The sponsors of Alpmobil are energieregionGOMS, Kraftwerke Oberhasli AG and Progetto San Gottardo.
