Safety of Buildings and Infrastructure
When issues of safety and security arise in relation to buildings, infrastructure and information, we help to optimise the deployment of available resources to prevent incidents that are caused either unintentionally or intentionally, or for technical or natural reasons.
In our projects, we:
- Apply quantitative risk analyses
- Examine the acceptance of risks and formulate protective goals
- Plan measures on the basis of cost-effectiveness considerations
- Provide support for risk management processes, and
- Develop scenarios and emergency practices.
Our experience covers a wide range of risks and we are accustomed to dealing with complex and networked equipment systems.
In addition to our general services, we also provide specialised assistance in the fields of reliability analysis (system reliability) and the behaviour of structures under dynamic or thermal loads (structural dynamics).
Our customers are public or private institutions with large investment portfolios as well as owners of individual properties who wish to deal with specific problems.
