Development Plan for a Retirement Home in the Municipality of Seuzach

The retirement home “Alterszentrum im Geeren” is to be expanded and partially renovated according to a design proposal submitted by the Zurich-based Bob Gysin + Partner architectural firm. EBP drafts the public development plan that is necessary for the project’s implementation.

The project centres on the expansion and partial renovation of the 35-year-old retirement home known as the “Alterszentrum im Geeren” (AZiG) in the municipality of Seuzach. The architectural design competition for the project, which was carried out in 2013, was won by the Zurich-based Bob Gysin + Partner architectural firm (BGP architects). In addition to the structural expansion and partial renovation of the existing building complex, the winning proposal submitted by BGP architects calls for the construction a new four-storey building. The project’s implementation now depends on the submission of a suitable development plan.

EBP has been commissioned to draft the public development plan. The aim of the development plan for the retirement home “Alterszentrum im Geeren” in the municipality of Seuzach is to secure the sustainable development of the site in question in accordance with the relevant planning legislation and the proposal submitted by BGP architects. This includes establishing the prerequisites for an architecturally sound expansion and partial renovation of the building complex and a high quality exterior landscape. The development plan AZiG establishes a basis for the project’s realisation and ensures convenient access to and from the site to the existing transport network.
