Office space planning for an academic building at the University of St.Gallen

EBP has been commissioned by the University of St.Gallen to help carry out office-space and workstation planning in the context of a tenant fit-out of an academic department building at #6/8 Müller-Friedbergstrasse. The building is to accommodate around 200 Workstations.

The University of St. Gallen (HSG) is expanding its research space by between 200 to 250 workstations in the context of a tenant fit-out of #6/8 Müller-Friedbergstrasse.

Working in close consultation with the building’s users and the planners, EBP is developing the office-space and workstation concept to establish a basis for the tenant fit-out. The scope of the assignment also includes a presentation of the latest developments in office-space design and an analysis of the typical modus operandi of the research community at the HSG. Moreover, in order to take account of tenant needs and other basic project specifications, various office-space concepts for the fit-out of the building on Müller-Friedbergstrasse are to be represented and visualized as distinct scenarios for the purposes of discussion and evaluation. The target scenario is then to be worked so as to match the specific layout plans before its implementation by the planners.
