Consulting of principal for extension of WWTP Hinwil

The wastewater treatment plant Hinwil (30’000 population equivalents) does not comply anymore with the stringent effluent standards in the catchment area of eutrophic Greifensee in eastern Switzerland. Therefore the existing activated sludge plant is rehabilitated and complemented with a nitrifying biofiltration and a subsequent deep bed filtration for extended suspended solid removal. The project also comprises measures preparing a possible retrofitting for the additional elimination of micropollutants.

EBP’s mandate aims at supporting the principal and comprises the following main activities: Tendering concept; tendering and contracting; project revision and approval; technical, legal and project management support; control of project costs and amendments; organization of steering committee meetings; support of plant acceptance and commissioning.
