SBB planned and implemented the development of a property near Zurich’s main station. EBP managed the DGNB certification process for the Project. The project was awarded a prize in the “Auszeichnung für gute Bauten 2016 – 2020” awards for building projects in the city of Zurich during that period.
Swiss Federal Railways is planning to build a housing complex consisting of three building units and a total of 130 apartments. The complex will be located on Zollstrasse next to a new commercial building just north of the tracks at Zurich’s main train station. Situated above a common underground carpark, the three buildings offer a direct view on the railway tracks, and are to be built and certified according to the Gold Standard criteria issued by the Swiss version of the German Sustainable Building Labela (DGNB).
EBP is providing the following services on behalf of SBB Real Estate Development:
- Sustainable development consulting for the planning team
- Decision making support for material selection and technical-systems planning
- Management of the DGNB certification process
- Verification of Minergie-P-Eco energy performance criteria as per design plan
