The aim of the OfficeWatt federal funding program is to improve the energy sustainability of administrations and service companies throughout Switzerland by giving them an incentive to replace any old and inefficient lighting, HVAC and cafeteria systems in their office buildings. The focus of the program is on such systems because they account for the lion’s share of power consumption in the relevant buildings.

How to demonstrate and benefit from corporate responsibility

Replace your old installations and systems with new ones. Upgrade to LED lighting. By doing so, you’ll make an important contribution to sustainability while at the same time ensuring the long-term benefit of lower energy costs. Moreover, you’ll receive federal funding to defray your investment costs!

A targeted approach to renewal and lower power consumption

The specific measures you implement to reduce your power consumption are largely up to you. You can fully replace existing systems or you can optimize them. However, the scope of the OfficeWatt program is limited to the following installations:

• Lighting systems
• HVAC systems
• Cafeteria systems

Eligibility for the program extends to all public and private enterprises in Switzerland with office space of more than 1,000 square meters.

A simple three-step approach

1. Plan your renovation measures
   Select a company to replace or renovate your interior lighting, HVAC or cafeteria system. We’d be happy to help you with the selection process.
2. Submit your funding application
   Contact us before beginning your renovation. With a few simple tools, we’ll help you to record the relevant data for your old and new systems. This will give you a reliable assessment of how much funding you’ll receive upon successful completion of your project.
3. Carry out and document your project costs
   Replace your old systems with new, energy-efficient ones. Submit your final statement of costs as soon as you complete the project. Your reimbursement will be paid out immediately. It’s that simple!
