Calculation of Swisscom’s Scope 3 emissions
EBP supports Swisscom with an annual calculation of its Scope 3 (indirect) emissions. EBP calculates the company's carbon footprint based on the volume of Swisscom’s purchasing transactions and by reviewing the performance of its suppliers, according to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)’s annual report. Using performance markers, EBP evaluates the success rate of the GHG-reduction measures implemented. Annual forecasts offer the client a regular overview of progress made towards its climate goals.
