Comparison of bus propulsion systems

What propulsion systems are best suited to the operation of bus services without the use of fossil fuels? Working on behalf of the Zugerland Transportation Company (ZVB), we completed a study to identify, analyze, and evaluate suitable propulsion systems for their various bus lines. In our study, we present solutions for bus lines that are less amenable to electrification owing to short station stops and high energy consumption.
