Development Koch site in Zurich

The Koch site in the Altstetten-Albisrieden district of Zurich is the location of a development project that will include the construction of two high-rise residential buildings with some commercial space, a commercial building, and a public park. Pursuant to the plan to develop the site, the city of Zurich organized four architectural design competitions that it then used as a basis for selecting one winning proposal for each of the individual building projects. EBP oversaw the process for harmonizing the separate projects in the context of a dialogue phase, thereby creating a basis for the private development plan (not including the public park). This development plan and a subsequent revision of the building and zoning ordinance then enabled the stakeholders to advance to the implementation phase.
