Project

Switzerland in the global value chains

Working on behalf of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), Rütter Soceco, now part of EBP, joined up with the Swiss company INFRAS to examine the development of Switzerland’s position in the global value chains. We analyzed the extent to which Swiss value added and jobs depend on demand in other countries and how this dependence has changed over time. We also investigated the ways in which Switzerland profits from its integration in the global value chains.
