Roadmap for the Electrification of Uster’s Vehicle Fleet
We developed a roadmap for the city of Uster for the electrification of its municipal vehicles by 2030, in which we analyzed the technical feasibility, costs, emissions, market availability and other factors for various vehicle types. We also dimensioned the necessary charging infrastructure for electrification at several locations. The city of Uster now knows when it makes sense to electrify its respective vehicle types and which preparations are necessary.

- Drafting an overview of the advantages and disadvantages of various propulsion technologies
- Assessing the technical feasibility of electrification according to the city’s specific requirements
- Calculating energy consumption and dimensioning the charging infrastructure
- Making recommendations for each vehicle type
- Working with the local energy supply company to draft a cost estimate for expanding the charging infrastructure
