Participatory Flood Protection Planning for the Triengen village stream
A major flood risk is posed by the Triengen village stream in the canton of Lucerne and its tributaries. We managed the comprehensive participation process for the flood and revitalisation project of an external office at the preliminary project stage. The participation concept we developed allowed us to involve the local population and those directly affected in the planning process for the preliminary project, to understand their view and to take their ideas into account when planning the implementation option.
