Impacts of Climate Change on Ecosystem Services
On behalf of the National Centre for Climate Services (NCCS) we create web-based tools to assess the impact of climate change on ecosystem services in Switzerland. We are working with research partners to develop future-oriented decision-making support tools accessible for everyone on a user-friendly dashboard. The work is being carried out in the frame of the “NCCS Impacts” program, as the "Impacts of climate change on ecosystem services" project.
Our services
- Developing a common understanding of the drivers of ecosystem services
- Elaborating a cross-sectoral view of the impacts of climate change and other developments on ecosystem services
- Identifying suitable adaptation measures
- Conducting workshops with stakeholders from practice, administration and research; designing a dashboard facilitating easy access to our research partners' apps
